It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our precious baby girl Violet Anne Wu on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
She will be forever loved and sorely missed by her loving parents Guan Wu and Julie Reasbeck, and her twin sister Sophie who will always carry a part of her heart.
She will be sadly missed by her grandparents Simon Wu & Wendy Xie and Mike & Jennifer Reasbeck, as well as her great grandparents Jean-Paul predeceased & Donna Reasbeck, and James & Sharon Coles. Cherished niece of Bradley, Jonathon, and Kassie.
Violet was born in Sudbury on September 16th, 2025, coming into the world one minute before her twin sister Sophie who she adored. Though she was only with us for 7 short weeks, in that time she showed us she was a fighter and full of spirit. We will miss her big beautiful brown eyes. Though our arms are empty, our hearts are filled with love for the tiny life that changed us forever.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sick Kids, Health Sciences North and the Ronald McDonald House for all their kindness, compassion and care.
Family and friends are invited to the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, from 4-8 pm with words of remembrance at 6 pm.
