Triple Jack Comedy is promising a night of hilarity on June 6 at Little Montreal in downtown Sudbury.

Triple Jack is a touring comedy trio of Dan Allaire, Diamond Lewis Hill and former Chelmsford resident Clint Gibbons.

“I love coming back to Sudbury,” Gibbons said in a news release. “I owe so much to this city — both personally and professionally. The comedy scene here was so supportive and full of talent. I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am without it. Coming back to perform and bring some of the funniest people I know with me is always a huge privilege.”

Gibbons, calls Ottawa home, has become a fixture at Yuk Yuk’s, released a comedy album (“There Were Hundreds, Maybe Thousands…”) and co-created the comedy podcast Get Us To The Show (GUTTS) with fellow comic Lewis Hill.

“I’m pumped to be back on the road with Dan and Lewis,” said Gibbons. “They’re two of the funniest comics I’ve ever worked with. We constantly push each other to be better, and we have a blast doing it. I think it’s that small-town bond — Lewis has lived all over the North: Azilda, Timmins, the Soo. And Dan’s the pride of Cornwall.”

Triple Jack Comedy has been touring across Ontario and last year completed their first East Coast run through Nova Scotia. This year, they’re focusing on select Northern Ontario stops—with Sudbury kicking things off.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the door on the night of the show. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.
