Sudbury Northern Screams is once again pushing the boundaries of terror in the Nickel City, partnering with the Sudbury Events Centre to present The Infirmary, the newest scare attraction for 2025 Halloween Season
The Infirmary is “set to plunge visitors into a new level of fear this fall,” said a release from Sudbury Northern Screams. “This indoor haunted attraction promises an immersive fear experience that will terrify you on arrival.”
The event, running weekends from Oct. 10 to Oct. 31, will “transform” The Sudbury Events Centre (formerly the Mine Mill Hall, 19 Regent Street) into an “unforgettable destination for thrills.”
Friday, Saturday and Sunday the screams get started at 7 p.m. and run through 10 p.m. including both “Devil’s Night” and Halloween, Oct. 30 and 31.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
“This is a very scary experience,” states the release. “Participation is at the discretion of parents/guardians. No refunds will be issued.”
But there is a family fun day — built for all ages— on Oct. 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Building on their reputation for intricate mazes of haunted hallways and a cast of horrifying characters, guests can expect to be terrorized by the residents of The Infirmary both in and out of the haunt. Ghoulish street performers and thematic music can be found throughout the grounds, as well as the walk-through scare attraction.
After you’ve been scared to pieces, you can grab some snacks and visit their vendors.
But beware, warns Northern Screams.
“The scares begin as soon as you step on to the hallowed ground of the Infirmary. Ghouls, monsters and many other nightmarish beings roam the grounds, they may even offer you snacks as part of our brand-new mobile concession team,” reads the release.
