Louise passed away suddenly at Health Science North, Sudbury with her family by her side, keeping her humour going until the end. She is survived by her husband of thirty-four years Jerome. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Shelley (Jason) and grandchildren Tyler, Diamond, Averi (Poppy), Aaron and Jason. Predeceased by her first grandchild Blade ba. Survived by her brothers Edward (Melissa ba), Henry, Comic, Lloyd ba (Candace), Ronnie ba, Stanley ba and her sisters Rose (Gerald), Vivian (Roger) and Bernadette. She will be missed by her in-laws Marlene, Kimberly and Darrell. Predeceased by Landry, John and Wanda. Also missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Mary and Martina.
Louise’s favorite pastimes were going for long car rides, exploring nature and visiting family that live far away. She liked attending Sudbury’s A.P.A.N.O Workshop learning new crafts. She recently got her Anishinaabe name, discovering her roots, clan, native tradition and medicine.
The family will receive friends at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah after 3:00 pm on Tuesday November 11th, 2025. Funeral mass to be celebrated Thursday November 13th at 11:00 am in St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah. Cremation to follow.
