“Grease: School Version” is a high-energy take on the beloved musical that has captivated audiences for decades. Join Danny, Sandy, the Pink Ladies, and the Burger Palace Boys as they sing, dance and cruise through their senior year at Rydell High.
Filled with unforgettable toe-tapping hits including “Greased Lightnin”, “We Go Together,” and “Summer Nights,” this youth production bursts with heart, humour and vintage flair.
“A musical of this scale requires collaboration across many departments,” says Production Director and Vocal Music Teacher Vanessa Chevrette. “When the curtain rises, something extraordinary will come to life on stage, all thanks to the hard work, dedication and long hours of students and staff.”
“This musical is the most ambitious project our staff and students have taken on, with exceptional results,” says Principal Heather Downey. “The process of staging this production builds resilience, teamwork and confidence, skills that will serve students long after graduation. Students are also forging lasting friendships.”
She adds: “Don’t miss this spirited blast from the past. Everyone is welcome to join us!”
Sudbury Secondary School is located at 154 College Street in Sudbury.
