Cinéfest Sudbury is set to screen “Sorry, Baby” on July 23. Starring Eva Victor (“Showtime’s Billions”), Naomi Ackie (“Mickey 17”) and Lucas Hedges (“Lady Bird”), the film will screen at 7 p.m. as the fourth film in this year’s Cinéfest Red Carpet Patron Program.
Something bad happened to Agnes (Eva Victor). But life goes on … for everyone around her, at least. When a beloved friend visits on the brink of a major milestone, Agnes starts to realize just how stuck she’s been and begins to work through how to move forward.
“Sorry, Baby” screened earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival, at the Seattle International Film Festival where it won the Seattle Film Critics Society Feature Film Award, and at the Sundance Film Festival where it took home the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award.
The debut film was written and directed by its lead actress Eva Victor.
Individual tickets are on sale now with limited availability at www.cinefest.com, at the Cinéfest Box Office (located at 40 Larch Street, Unit 103), or by calling 705-688-1234. Each Cinéfest Red Carpet Patron is granted complimentary admittance.
