Greater Sudbury’s slate of six speed-enforcement cameras have found new homes, with the city relocating the mobile units to six new locations throughout the municipality.
The cameras are relocated every four months as they shift through the city’s list of priority locations.
Motorists will have noticed the silver metal boxes which contain the cameras relocated to their latest locations in recent days, which are as follows:
- Municipal Road 80, Hanmer (between Main Street and Yorkshire Drive)
- Kelly Lake Road (between Copper Street and Southview Drive)
- Kalmo Road (between Main Street and Bodson Drive)
- Notre Dame Avenue, Hanmer (between Linden Drive and Oscar Street)
- Barry Downe Road (between Lasalle Boulevard and Lillian Boulevard)
- Falconbridge Road (between Donnelly Drive and Church Street
The cameras have been operational since March 22, 2024, and last year resulted in 12,796 tickets, yielding net revenue to the city of $753,003.
