Photos: Gorgeous weekend for Anderson Farm’s celebration of fall

Crowds turn out in droves for Anderson Farm Museum's 16th annual fall fair

September smiled on Anderson Farm this past weekend for the Lively museum’s 16th annual fall fair.

Warm and sunny, the weather convinced droves of Greater Sudburians to make the drive to Lively for the event put on by the Anderson Farm Museum Heritage Society. As always, traffic was bumper to bumper around the farm grounds.

Serenaded by live music provided by local artists, visitors strolled along the extensive vendor’s row where local and visiting artisans plied their trade. With ample food choices from sweet to savoury, nobody went hungry at the fall fair.

Cotton candy from the Lion’s Club was a big hit with young and old alike. For the kids, the lineups at the inflatables were steady and a chance to feed the goats was not to be missed.

A regular feature of the fall fair, the vintage car show featured row after row of vintage and classic cars, and proved popular with amateur photographers and car buffs alike.

With August in the rearview, Anderson Farm’s Sept. 20 kick off to the season had thousands of Sudburians celebrating fall.
