Verdicchio Ristorante is reimagining an old favourite.
Pastapalooza was a one-day pasta celebration last summer, which was a fan favourite. Now, Verdicchio is bringing it back, starting September 10 and running indefinitely, in a new way: Pasta with a Purpose.
“For just $35, guests can enjoy a curated selection of three pastas handmade next door by Aniko Pasta Artigianale, each prepared with sauces inspired by the seasons and the diverse regions of Italy,” explained a Verdicchio representative. “Optional wine pairings are available for $30, thoughtfully chosen to elevate the experience.”

Pasta with a Purpose also supports local charities, with a portion of proceeds being donated to a rotating charity each month. For September, the charity will be the Sudbury Food Bank.
“Our goal has always been to celebrate food, community, and connection,” said Mark Gregorini of Verdicchio Ristorante | Enoteca. “With Pasta with a Purpose, we can showcase our sister company Aniko Pasta while supporting important local causes in Sudbury.”

Verdicchio Ristorante was established in 1994 and is an award-winning Italian restaurant in Sudbury, with farm to table fine dining and incredible wine pairings. Verdicchio offers a seasonal a la carte menu and daily specials to take advantage of all of the delicious foods grown right in the area.
Verdicchio also offers private dining rooms for smaller or mid-size groups, as well as a large outdoor dining space for larger events.
Make a reservation today for Pasta with a Purpose starting September 10 and enjoy delicious Italian pasta along with the knowledge that you are supporting an important community cause.
