Police are investigating after the body of a person was found in a residence in Sturgeon Falls this morning.
West Nipissing Ontario Provincial Police said the detachment received a call for service at around 10 a.m. on Sept. 25 regarding a body being found in a residence on William Street. Police and EMS responded.
"A 65-year-old person from that residence was found deceased," an OPP news release states. "There is no evidence of foul play or any threats to the public."
Cause of death is under investigation by the OPP in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
