Oar you witches ready for an adventure? On Oct. 3, it’s time to turn Ramsey Lake into one giant cauldron and fill it with the magic of Halloween as the Witches Paddle for a Cause gets underway between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Sudbury Canoe Club. Check-in time begins at 5 p.m. and the event is free and open to everyone!
Stand-up paddleboards, canoes and kayaks are welcome and all you need to join in the fun is a donation to the Sudbury Food Bank (and a personal floatation device).
At the event you’ll find a photo booth, music, a costume contest with prizes as well as Halloween treats and drinks.
Head out to the Sudbury Canoe Club, whether you are a member or not, and join in the spooky season fun.
