In loving memory of David “Dave” McCauley, 77 years who passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Maison McCulloch Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Jacqueline “Jackie” McCauley (née Leclair). Loving father of Christopher McCauley (Michelle) and Cory McCauley. Cherished grandfather of Noah, Daphne and Alec. Dear son of Orville and Virginia (née Perry) McCauley both predeceased. Dear brother of Gail Allen (John predeceased), Dora Edwards (Jim predeceased), Barbara MacElwee (Brian) and brother-in-law of Carmen Tasse, Robert Leclair (Sheryl), Mike Leclair and Claire Lemieux (Ron). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
David was born in Peterborough, he came to Sudbury in 1967 and started at INCO where he worked for 32 years. He enjoyed rides on his Harley Davidson and his Porsche. He loved spending his time at the camp on Joe Lake.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff of the Maison McCulloch Hospice, Home Health and the ARC Unit – Health Sciences North for all their care and support.
Memorial visitation at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel, Sudbury on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 3-8pm with words of remembrance at 5pm Saturday. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
