In loving memory of Mardel Marlene Maltais (née Bell), 77 years who passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of 53 years of Lawrence “Larry” Maltais. Loving mother of Marla Keeping (Duane) and Laurie Boudreau (Joel). Cherished grandmother of Sierra Laplante (Nevon Green), Katelyn Keeping, Alex Boudreau, Eric Boudreau, Elliot Boudreau and great grandmother to Athena Green. Dear daughter of Howard and Alberta Bell both predeceased. Dear sister of Joyce Guenette (Leo predeceased), Faye Jones (predeceased) (Gordon) , Carol Croteau (Manny) both predeceased,Pauline (Gerry predeceased), Beverley Rollins predeceased (Arnie), Sharon Charlebois (Louis), Fern Gladu (Andy predeceased), Wendy Belleville (Bill) and Bob Bell predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.
As per Mardel’s wishes, there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 11am - 2pm.
