Michael Kaiser, owner of aKaiserPhoto and Dance by aKaiserPhoto, has won a 2025 Sudbury.com Reader Favourite Award in the Photographic Services category— a great way to celebrate his tenth year as a full-time business owner.

Michael’s approach to his work is to “capture the moment and not change too much.” With his portraits, headshots and engagement sessions, he focuses on the connection between his clients —as well as between him and them. He also keeps the editing of his photos natural, resulting in images that stand the test of time.
The connection is what makes Michael’s photos particularly special. He doesn’t rush his shoots, as he knows that time is what allows clients to loosen up and get to know him— resulting in photos that they will ultimately be happier with. “I don’t like to rush people. It takes time to get comfortable in front of the camera,” Michael says.
