Being from Garson and now part of the Sudbury riding, federal elections can be frustrating to say the least.
Both the Sudbury riding and the newly formed “Sudbury East – Manitoulin – Nickel Belt” riding have always voted Liberal or NDP.
In the next federal election, we all must consider that scenario.
Despite the Trudeau Liberals propped up by Jagmeet Singh’s NDP and both trying to spend their way back into voter’s hearts with our tax dollars all the while risking our standard of living, value of our dollar and children’s future, Canada has never been more divided and in debt. Canada’s credit card is maxed out and we are living on borrowed money.
Inflation, carbon taxes to which Canada pollutes 1.5 per cent globally, soaring governmental debt of $1.45 trillion and deficit, interest on this debt pegged at $54.1 billion for this year alone. The housing crisis to which no first-time homebuyer could ever afford, the Liberal government’s legacy of arrogance, incompetence and ignorance to the needs of the everyday Canadian is utterly appalling.
Change is coming to Canada and not soon enough. Even the Liberals admit it is not about losing the next election but just how badly they will lose.
This is why Sudbury and the new riding of Sudbury East – Manitoulin – Nickel Belt need to make sure we have MPs at the table working in Ottawa bringing that change and opportunity to our area.
