Dona passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 05, 2025, at the Espanola Regional Hospital with her sons by her side.
Dona took pride in being a mother, daughter, aunt and friend to many around her. She will be remembered by her two sons Nicholas (Megan) and Nathan (Christina). Dona was also extremely proud to become a grandmother (Granny) in the last year for her first grandchild Luca. It was the spark her life needed.
Dona was born in Espanola to her parents Corrine and Nick Kozachanko (both pre-deceased) and was the second of two daughters. Dona loved and cared for her older sister Brenda and was adored by her nieces Melissa (Joe) and Mykalah (Lisa). Dona was also a great aunt to Quinton (Jenna) and Mckenna (Brady).
Dona will be remembered in the greater Sudbury and Espanola area for the many passionate years of hairdressing. It was during this time she had children and lived to give her children the best life they could have. In many ways Dona succeeded and loved her two boys
Her passions including music, dancing, barbecuing, shopping, being outdoors, camping and just living life.
Dona was full of love, life and laughter. Her spirit will always shine so bright and will be missed tremendously by everyone that knew her. Dona had a one-of-kind personality that is gone but not forgotten.
