They call it Sudbury's most creative night and it's all set for the end of the month when The Gutsy Runway Toilet Paper Fashion Show is to be held on Friday November 28, at 7 p.m. at the Chartwell Meadowbrook in Lively. Tickets are on sale online now.
The annual gala is a big fundraising event for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, said a news release.
The unforgettable evening will blend fashion, fun, and fundraising. Local designers will craft stunning toilet paper creations, proving that unexpected materials can inspire extraordinary style. Guests will enjoy a vibrant show, silent auction, and entertainment, all in support of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
Every ticket sold and every dollar raised helps fund life-changing research and programs for the one in 140 Canadians living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, said the release.
Along with selling tickets, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is inviting creative people to step up and be part of the magic night. You can design a dress of your own. The organizers will help you by supplying paper and setting up a fundraiser page.
Local businesses are invited to join the cause through sponsorships or silent auction contributions.
Let’s turn fashion into hope. Be part of a night where creativity meets courage, and hope takes center stage, said the news release.
Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is on a relentless journey to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by these diseases, said the release.
