As I think I've told you before, I've been a newspaper guy my entire working life.

With tongue firmly planted in cheek, let me declare that we, as a community, might be staring down the barrel of the greatest community marketing ploy this city has ever seen. The question is, do we have the wherewithal to make it happen.

It's true. After the news broke last week that processed meats, like bacon, cause colorectal cancer, I thought it would be clever to costume myself in the crispy, greasy wonderfulness that is bacon, surely the greatest of all the processed meats.
