A visual art exhibit by francophone youth is being presented during June as part of St-Jean festivities in Sudbury.
Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury, Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon and Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord have partnered on the project for the second year in a row.
This collaboration aims to celebrate the emerging talent and creativity of francophone youth.
The exhibition will feature artwork created by students in Grades 9 to 12 from École secondaire catholique l’Horizon (Val Caron), École secondaire du Sacré-Cœur (Sudbury), École secondaire
Macdonald-Cartier (Sudbury), École secondaire Hanmer (Hanmer) and Collège Notre-Dame (Sudbury).
These art pieces showcase a variety of artistic expressions and reflect the diverse perspectives and techniques explored by students.
Community members are invited to support the secondary school artists by discovering their work, which will be on display on the main floor of Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury June 2-24.
The health centre is located at 19 Frood Rd. in Sudbury, and is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
