Jean Marilyn Fajcz
February 22, 1933 – November 6, 2025
In loving memory of Jean M. Fajcz (nee Wiseman), 92 years, who passed away peacefully on Thursday November 6, 2025, at Health Sciences North.
She was born in High Falls, ON, daughter to Walter Wiseman (dec.1969) and Edith (nee Brohart) Wiseman (dec.1982), sister to Velma Laine and Bernice Rendell. She was the wife of Louis Fajcz (dec.1991) and special friend of Allan Calford (dec.2019)
Jean was the mother of Kevin of Sudbury, Darren (Pia) of Ottawa, and James (Stephanie) of Prattsville AL, and grandmother of Zachary, Emma, Beth Anne, and Alex.
Jean was a lifelong member of St, Stephen’s on the Hill church. She was a secretary, she enjoyed athletic endeavors such as golfing, curling, cross country skiing, skating, tennis, badminton, swimming, and walking. Jean loved to play Scrabble, she was a good cook, a cottager at Fairbank Lake for 40 years, and she enjoyed social gatherings. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Friends may call from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday November 13, 2025, and after 10:00am on Friday November 14, 2025. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel on Friday November 14, 2025, at 11:00am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Civic Cemetery.
