DIGNARD, Lorraine (née LeBreton)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the age of 94 years.
Wife of the late Gerard Arseneault and of the late Alvida Dignard (54 years). Daughter of the late Edmond and the late Julie Anne LeBreton. Loving mother of Géraldine (Jules), Jean-Guy (Amy), Jocelyne (Fadel), Denis (Jennifer) and Anne (Brendan). Predeceased by her son Ronald, granddaughter Renee, great-grandson Oliver and by all her siblings. Cherished grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 12. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Lorraine was passionate about golf, loved shopping, summers at Lake Nepawassi, holidays in Bradenton, Florida and family Christmas Eve celebrations. She was well known for her meat pies and her strong confidence while playing cards, especially Phase 10.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Paroisse Ste-Anne-des-Pins, Sudbury. Masses in her honor to Paroisse Ste-Anne-des-Pins or donations to the Blue Door Soup Kitchen (The Samaritan Centre) will be appreciated.
