It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother, Gabriella DeNinno, who passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2025, at Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury, Ontario, at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of the late Domenico DeNinno (predeceased in 2007), Gabriella will be forever cherished and deeply missed by her daughters Viviana and Nadia (Clarimundo Pedroso), and by her adoring granddaughters Gabriella and Alia, who brought her immense joy.

Predeceased by her cherished parents, Erminio and Domenica Cerilli, she is now reunited with her beloved sisters and brothers: Francesca, Maria (and her late husband Ernesto), Adelma (Mario Valentani), Riziero (and his late wife Ilde), and Sebastiano (Rosa). She will be deeply missed by her devoted brother, Arcangelo (and his late wife Giannina). Fondly remembered as well by her sister-in-law Anna DiPancrazio (Italo), and brothers-in-law Antonio Tomei (Luigina) and the late Fiorino Tomei (Giovannina).

Sadly, missed by all her nieces and nephews.

Gabriella was a woman of quiet strength and great kindness, someone who found the joys in the simple things in life. She loved to cook for those she cared about, filling our home with comforting aroma of her famous dishes and warmth of her laughter.  Her garden was her sanctuary, a place where flowers and tomatoes flourished under her gentle touch.   Birds often gathered near her window, as if they too, knew they were in the presence of someone with a tender soul.

She was our heart, loving and endlessly giving. She taught us that happiness is found not in the grand things, but in every day moments shared with the people you love.

Mamma, we are forever grateful for all the time we shared.  Papa ti aspetta alle porte del paradiso con un caffe in mano.
