A second-place finish in their 2025 League1 championship campaign is a great reason to celebrate.
You’re invited to join the Sudbury Cyclones at M.I.C. for a party tonight (Aug. 26) at 7 p.m.
“Fans are encouraged to come out, enjoy some food and drink and reminisce on the great memories,” said a release from the Cyclones.
The Cyclones used both James Jerome and Cambrian as a “fortress,” earning a record of seven wins, four draws and zero losses at home this season.
Overall on the season, the Cyclones finished with a record of 12 wins, seven draws, and three losses, the Cyclones earned 43 points, good for second in the Championship and only falling short of champions Unionville on tiebreaker.
The Cyclones were led in scoring by the well-known duo of Timi Aliu and Jaiden Santo, who both netted eight goals this season. Contributing with three was Nico Patenaude, and all of Caelan Walraven, Cedric Devos and Joshua Vivero scored twice in the campaign.
“The Cyclones defence proved to be the backbone of the squad, as they earned eight clean sheets throughout the season,” said the release.
The Cyclones’ men now move on to a 2026 campaign in the League1 Premier, the highest level of soccer in Ontario, and you can set them on the right path at the gathering M.I.C. tonight “in commemoration of a successful Cyclones season.”
