The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at the age of 90 years.
Husband of the late Fernande (née Duguay) Bradley and of the late Marielle (née Gratton) Bradley. Son of the late Isaac and of the late Rosée (née Rhéaume) Bradley. Loving father of Nelson Bradley and Suzanne Bradley, both of Chelmsford. Predeceased by his son David (Rose of Chelmsford). Predeceased by his siblings Aline Proulx (late Conrad), Jeannine Gosselin (late Yvon), Maggie Montpellier (late Ovide), Edgar (late Berthe), Olina Gravelle (late Aldège), Donald, Eva Lavigne (late Aurele), Léona Gravelle (late Conrad), Florence Bradley, Conrad (late Marielle) and Roger (Thérèse). Cherished grandfather of Joël, Éric, Kayla and great-grandfather of Tyson, Joël, Regan, Caleb, Mathieu, Noah and Mika. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ronald was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree Msgr. Adolphe Proulx Assembly, council 6258. A very active community member, he served in many councils and boards, such as Deputy Mayor for the Rayside-Balfour Municipality, the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities (FONOM), Paroisse St-Joseph, Sudbury’s Regional Planning Board and the Nickel District Conservation Authority. Ron was also a founding member of the USW Local 6500 and of the Senior Craft Shop in Chelmsford.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 15th, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Paroisse St-Joseph, Chelmsford. (Friends and relatives may gather after 10 a.m.) Donations to Paroisse St-Joseph would be greatly appreciated.
