The Northern Ontario Mining Showcase (NOMS) is now accepting applications from service and supply companies that want to exhibit at the 2026 convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).
Scheduled to take place March 1-4, 2026, the four-day event draws thousands of people to Toronto from around the globe to experience what is considered the world’s premier mining tradeshow.
Participating in the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase gives the North’s mining supply and service businesses an opportunity to meet new clients, network with industry contacts, and learn about new trends and technology in the industry.
It’s been credited with generating more than $100 million in new sales and creating more than 900 jobs.
To be eligible, businesses must have operations located in Northern Ontario, with at least 25 per cent of the total global workforce living and working in the North and fewer than 500 employees worldwide.
Companies must directly supply or have significant potential to supply products and services that are directly tied to the development, operation, management, or reclamation of mines, and they must also currently sell or have the potential to sell products or services to the mining industry outside of Northern Ontario.
This marks the 12th consecutive year for the showcase, which is organized by the City of Temiskaming Shores and supported financially by FedNor.
Since its early years, it’s grown to encompass 112 northern businesses in 13,200 square feet of convention space, making it the largest display within PDAC.
In addition to the individual company booths, the showcase hosts a speaker’s series and interactive displays.
The deadline to apply for a NOMS booth is Oct. 31.
